Curver is an Icelandic artist/musician with a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He is a member of the duo Ghostigital with Einar Örn Benediktsson, a former member of The Sugarcubes. Ghostigital has performed worldwide with releases on Ipecac Recordings, Honest Jon’s and Bad Taste Ltd. Collaborations include Björk, David Byrne, Mark E. Smith, Alan Vega, Dälek, and Sensational. In his art, Curver uses mixed media; performances, video works, installations and relational art to explore the concept of self, popular culture and society. He was commissioned by Performa 09 and TB-A21. He is a recipient of the Svavar Guðnason and Ásta Eríksdóttir Memorial Award.
